Registration Opening Hours
The registration desks will be open at the following times:
Continuing professional development (CPD) To be awarded your CPD points you must swipe into every session or lecture that you attend.
One CPD point per hour of educational activity is awarded at Congress.
The total CPD allocation for the main Congress is 24 points: Monday 8 points, Tuesday 8 points and Wednesday 8 points.
Sub-Specialty Thursday will be awarded 6 points.
Exhibition opening hoursThe UK's largest ophthalmic commercial exhibition will be open throughout the Congress, including sub-specialty Thursday. The exhibition is organised by Optic UK as part of their continuing support to the ophthalmic profession.
SecurityDelegates must wear their badge at all times. You will be asked to swipe your badge when you visit the registration desk on arrival (once only) and into the entrance to all Congress sessions. Please assist the stewards by having your badge ready. Please note that badges will be encoded for each day so you will not be admitted if you have not registered for that day.
Congress AppRCOphth Congress is going paperless again with an app in 2017 so, as in 2016, you will no longer receive the printed programme or Congress bag. All of the content of the programme will be found within the app plus much more (for full details see the app tab on the Congress website). The app will be greatly improved from its introduction last year and can be downloaded in advance for IOS, Android or any Windows device including your laptop free of charge, even before you have registered.
